Terms of Service

1. General Terms

JYT Steel ("JYTSTEEL") provides these Terms of Service ("Terms") to govern the use of our products, services, and website (jytsteel.com). By placing an order or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Quotes and Pricing

2.1. Quote Validity

• Quotes are valid for 30 days
• JYTSTEEL reserves the right to cancel or modify quotes upon notice
• Freight, handling, and applicable taxes are additional to quoted prices

2.2. Price Changes

• Prices and specifications expire after 30 days without notice
• JYTSTEEL reserves the right to modify prices with written notice

3. Order Processing and Acceptance

3.1. Order Confirmation

• Orders are not accepted without JYTSTEEL's order confirmation
• Orders require review and acceptance of:
  • Purchase order
  • Payment terms
  • Credit approval
  • Required documentation
  • Any necessary advance payments

3.2. Delivery Times

• All delivery dates are estimates only
• Lead times begin upon JYTSTEEL's order acceptance
• Delivery times are not guaranteed and depend on:
  • Current workload
  • Vendor availability
  • Manufacturing schedules

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Late Charges

• Applied 15 days after due date
• Greater of:
  • 10% of invoiced amount
  • Discount granted (if any)
• Payment required to restore open account status

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1. FOB Terms

• FOB point stated on order confirmation
• FOB "Destination" orders ship "prepaid" or "prepaid and add"
• Freight cost, handling, and DVC charges added to shipment
• Risk transfers to customer upon delivery

5.2. Storage

• 3 business days free storage after order completion
• 1% daily storage fee of purchase price thereafter
• Items considered abandoned if storage fees exceed purchase price

6. Returns and Cancellations

6.1. Order Cancellation

• Requires prior written approval
• Cancellation fees may apply
• Custom items not eligible for cancellation

6.2. Returns

• Require advance written approval and RMA
• Must be in original condition and packaging
• Return shipping at customer's expense
• Subject to restocking and handling charges
• Minor defects not affecting function or safety not eligible
• Store credits may be issued instead of refunds
• Credits expire in 60 days unless waived

7. Warranty and Liability

7.1. Limited Warranty

• JYTSTEEL warrants only specifications documented in order confirmation
• No guarantee of product suitability for specific applications
• Oral instructions or unlisted requirements not covered

7.2. Liability Limitations

• Not responsible for consequential damages
• Not liable for revenue loss from delays or performance issues
• No responsibility for improper use or modifications

8. Export Regulations

8.1. Compliance

• Subject to U.S. Department of Commerce regulations
• Export licenses may be required for certain destinations
• Additional processing charges for export licenses
• Customer must notify of destination changes

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1. Arbitration

• All disputes settled through American Arbitration Association
• Commercial Arbitration Rules apply
• Exclusive forum for claims and controversies
• Governed by California law
• Hearings conducted in Orange County, California

10. Modifications to Terms

JYTSTEEL reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of services after modifications constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
